Andhra Pradesh opposition leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has blown the conch to sound the war cry against rampant corruption and growing atrocities committed by the Chandrababu government. He has resumed his mass outreach initiate, Praja Sankalpa Yatra after the murderous attack on him. The historic march started from Tamarakhandi of Parvathipuram constituency on Wednesday. There was festive atmosphere in the air, and people turned up in large numbers to meet YS Jagan.
Men, women, the elderly and the disabled were among those who interacted with the YSR Congress party chief and enquired about his health, in the light of the murder attempt on him at Visakhapatnam airport on October 25. College students from Tamarakhandi came up to the leader and expressed their joy on seeing that YS Jagan had recovered to the extent of resuming his Padayatra.
Talking to the media the locals complained that during Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy’s reign, there were a number of bus services to Bobbili, but since the TDP government has come into power, the number of services has come down significantly, hindering education of students from surrounding 10 villages.
Four sarpanchs, four MPTCs from 8 panchayats of the Parvathipuram constituency joined YSRCP in the presence of the people’s leader. Along with them, 2000 supporters also joined in the YSR Congress party.
