- How can you enter the holy abode-like assembly with the loot?
- It's the responsibility of the speaker to prevent the house from the rust
- The 21 defectors should be disqualified
- YS Jagan demands in his open letter
Hyderabad: In light of the inauguration of new assembly temporary building in the state capital area and upcoming assembly sessions, the leader of opposition and YSRCP president, YS Jagan, wrote to the speaker of AP assembly, Kodela Siva Prasad Rao, an open letter, demanding the disqualification of party defectors.
YSRCP MLAs Y.Visweswar Reddy, Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy and Adimoolapu Suresh released the letter to the media at the party's central office in Hyderabad today.
Here is an abstract of what YS Jagan wrote.
How can they enter the holy abode of democracy with their loot?
In the auspicious moment of entering the new assembly building of AP, which can be considered the holy abode of democracy, I am reminding you the circumstances that lead to this moment. You know how the capital's shifting to Amaravathi gained acceleration after CM Chandrababu had been caught red handed buying MLAs during the MLC elections in Telangana.
Is the purchase of MLAs not robbery?
Another robbery he did was the unethical purchase of 21 MLAs from opposition YSRCP spending hundreds of crores of rupees. These 21 MLAs are loot according to the constitution. Repeated appeals for their disqualification have been ignored. Ignoring our appeals as well as allowing them into the assembly are mockery of democracy.
Preventing the loot of the CM from entering the new assembly is in your hands now. It is your responsibility as per the constitution and the democracy to disqualify the 21 defectors of YSRCP and save the new capital city from the rust of the loot.
Though you belong to TDP, I hope that you will respect the verdict of the people.
