Mango farmers in distress

YS Jagan to console mango farmers on July 9

Tirupati, July 4: Reiterating that former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Bangarupalem on July 9 despite all restrictions of the government, YSRCP has said that Chandrababu’s negligence towards mango farmers stands exposed with Karnataka getting assurance from the Centre.
Speaking to media here on Friday, former TTD Chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said, Chandrababu Naidu has not given any assurance to the mango farmers of Chittoor district even during his Kuppam visit while JD(S) in the neighbouring Karnataka could get an assurance from the Union Government which shows the indifference of the coalition.
Though being part of the NDA, TDP could not get any help from the Centre while JD(S) leader, with fewer seats in the Parliament, could get an assurance from the Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan that the Centre would buy 2.5 lakh tonnes of mangoes at the rate of Rs 16 per kg.
On the other hand, the pulp factories in the state are offering just Rs 2 per kg and Chandrababu Naidu has told in a matter-of-fact manner to buy it at Rs 8 and farmers are facing many hardships.
Against this backdrop, our leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is visiting Bangarupalem market yard on July 9, come what may to expose the government’s indifference towards mango farmers and extend solidarity with them, despite the restrictions, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu during his Kuppam tour has been speaking incoherently casting aspersions on YS Jagan Mohan Reddy with his snide remarks, but they stem out the fear with the huge crowds our leader has been drawing and voicing the people’s issues all the time.
Chandrababu’s career is full of violence, deception and backstabbing while YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has always been with the people and during his term has transferred Rs 2.8 lakh crore as DBT while the TDP leader has gone back on his poll promises and has been talking about P4 which he says will change the landscape by 2029 and this appears as a mirage. His talk that he is a changed man only shows the rise of pitch in vindictive politics.
Training the guns of Pawan Kalyan he said the Deputy Chief Minister is in a slumber and will be so during the entire term of Chandrababu and likened him to Urmila in Ramayana.
