Chittoor (Gurramkonda): Rajampet MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy and Peeleru MLA Chintala Ramachandra Reddy remarked that YSRCP a would face TDP's atrocities with valour. They spoke in the media conference arranged at Sarivudugu village of Gurramkonda mandal. They remarked that it was odd that only the YSRCP activist's house has been demolished of the 70 houses in the colony and slammed the unjust arrest of YSRCP NOW Chevireddy Bhaskar Reddy for questioning the atrocity. They condemned the police for arresting him again when he had peacefully protested against his arrest in front of RDO office.
They demanded to know where the police had been when Poothalapattu MLA Sunil Kumar had been verbally abused and discriminated in the name of caste. They complained that TDP was trying to grab YSRCP leaders and activists by filing false cases against them and added that it would not scare them. They also stated that certain others were resorting to enticement. They cautioned TDP to stop their anti-people ways.
Participating in the meeting were state minority Secretary Jameer Ali Khan, MPPs Nakka Chandrasekhar, Vuhita Anand, Arunamma, Venugopal Reddy, ZPTC members Reddy Basha, Ramachandrayya, Srivalli and other leaders and activists.
