YSR Congress party honourary president
Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma on Wednesday gave a clarion call to students to aim high
and define their aims clearly while pursuing their academic career.
Addressing students of the Zilla
Parishad Girls’ High School at Pulivendula in Kadapa district, she exhorted the
students to know the purpose of their studies and then concentrate to achieve
their objectives.
Vijayamma is on a two-day tour of the Pulivendula
constituency and has been giving audience to people to know their problems and
participating in various programmes. “Define your aims and objectives and try
to achieve them with concentration. You should come up in life through your
hard work and stand high in society,” she inspired the students.
Recalling her association with the
school where she studied her 8, 9 and 10th classes, Vijayamma called
up on the students to compete themselves with those of the corporate schools
and plan accordingly. “You should be second to none of the corporate school
students,” she told them. She distributed eating plates and glasses to students.
Later, Vijayamma inaugurated the new
class room building in the primary school at Kumarampalle in Vempalle Mandal.
During her two-day tour, people from
different walks of life met her at her camp office and submitted memoranda
seeking her intervention to find solutions to various problems.
