Guntur, June 28: YSRCP has reiterated that Amaravati is an unending story and condemned the attack on the Party leaders besides stating that there are many unanswered questions in the custodial death of Sai Krishna.
Speaking to media here on Sunday, former minister Ambati Rambabu said, it has become a habit for the coalition government to picture the victims as accused and file cases against them. Serious cases were filed against us though we were the victims of the attack by TDP cadre and we will not give up but fight back to expose to the dark side of Amaravati.
The attack was masterminded by Chandrababu and his son Lokesh as the person who hit the constable with a big stone happens to be close to Lokesh.
Though Chandrababu Naidu had said that Amaravati is a self financed model, he has brought 47,000 crore loan and wanted to acquire another 50, 000 acres of land. Those who refused to give land were being harassed by making their fields useless.
When we were going to Penumaka on the invitation of farmers, we were stopped, stones and eggs were pelted at us and while bore the brunt of hooliganism, SC ST Atrocities cases were slapped on us. We will not be afraid of cases and will fight it out and expose the large scale corruption and loot in Amaravati.
Chandrababu has been paying Rs 20,000 per square feet while in top metro cities the rate is just over RS 5,000 and this inflating cost is only for kickbacks, he said.
On the Sai Krishna case, there are many unanswered questions and when we wanted some clarifications the result was not encouraging.
We want to know why and how the CCTV footage disappeared from all the points and what happened to Sail Krishna after his death and the motive of the death was not specified. More that custodial death, unable to produce the body is a serious crime which is unprecedented and the government should own up the responsibility, he said.
