Tadepalli, July 1: Former Chief Minister and YSR Congress Party President Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy assured full support to sanitation workers who were removed from their jobs at the Kurnool Government General Hospital (GGH) after a change in the sanitation contract. The workers met him at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli on Wednesday and submitted a representation, stating that despite serving as contract sanitation workers for several years, they were abruptly terminated by the new contractor, Padmavathi Hospitality Agency, without prior notice, leaving their families without a livelihood and in severe financial distress.
After hearing their grievances, Y.S. Jagan assured the workers that the YSRCP would stand firmly by them in their fight for justice. He said the party’s Legal Cell would provide all necessary legal assistance to safeguard their employment and protect their rights. Reaffirming the party’s commitment to the welfare of workers, he assured them that YSRCP would extend every possible support until justice is secured
