*Coalition failed education system*

Tadepalli, June 30: YSRCP has reiterated that the education and social welfare departments have miserably failed and the government is found wanting on all fronts.

Speaking to media here on Tuesday, Party General Secretary Jupudi Prabhakar Rao said the government schools are totally neglected and the social welfare hostels are in a shambles as all the reforms brought in by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were systematically destroyed.

The Nadu Nedu programme has been watered down and while there was an influx of students from private schools to government schools as the standards were improved with digital classrooms, tabs, English medium, CBSE, Nadu Nedu and other such facilities the system has fallen apart after the coalition government took over.

With Talliki Vandanam implementation being very shoddy, students and parents are in dismay and they are moving to private schools that serve the interests of Chandrababu and Lokesh. The coalition is patronizing private players with top educationalists being associated with the coalition.

The social welfare hostels have a sorry tale to tell. One student of a social welfare hostel in Chintalapudi assembly constituency was thrown out of the hostel for asking for a blanket. This shows the manner in which the welfare schemes are being implemented.

The coalition has failed on all its poll promises. The education and welfare sectors are bearing the brunt as all the reforms brought in by YS Jagan Mohan Reddy were done away with and with the privatization policy, government schools are being neglected and destroying the edifice built then.

The government is being run like a partnership concern with one partner being a silent partner and the remaining two pursuing their focus on privatization.

While YS Jagan Mohan Reddy gave all the welfare schemes on time, school uniforms, bags and shoes are yet to be distributed, he said.
