TDP's captive media spinning stories

Hyderabad, June 19, 2013: Coming down heavily on TDP and the section of
media supporting it, YSR Congress has said the duo is trying to spin a story
out of nothing at a time when the case against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is weakening.

 “When the
comments of the Chief Minister in the assembly and other proceedings point out
that there is no case against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, TDP leaders have been
parroting the single-minded version of what the section of the media has
published about auditor Vijaysai Reddy without verifying facts,” party official
spokesperson Gattu Ramachandra Rao told reporters here on Wednesday.

 A day
after the media house publishes a mischievous story about Vijaysai Reddy,
auditor of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s companies, TDP leaders pop up at a press
conference repeating the same version and hurling the same accusations that
Vijaysai Reddy was recommended by YSR for the Director’s post of RBI besides
TTD and OBC.

 Every
bank intends to have an auditor on its Board and if that is wrong, TDP, way
back in 2000, has nominated D Sitaramaiah, auditor of NTR, N Chandrababu Naidu
and companies owned by his family members and also the media house that has
been publishing these stories, was made RBI Director, Southern region, TTD
Chairman and also the Director of APIDC.

The
auditor, who was associated with TDP first family and the media house
supporting the party, was nominated to these coveted posts and when YSR
recommends the name of Vijaysai Reddy for some such posts, the party and the
media house is making a hue and cry.

 “If the
apprehension of TDP and the media house that Vijaysai Reddy would have swindled
funds if he was made the director of RBI, how much money was misappropriated by
the person who was made the RBI director of southern region and when he was
made the chairman of TTD and director of APIDC,” he said.

When Margadarsi was in legal trouble should it
be understood that the auditor who was earlier appointed to the most sought
after posts come to the rescue of the media house owner, he asked.

Viajysai Reddy during his stint at
Director of a bank, the adversaries alleged that he was instrumental in getting
loans to Bharathi Cements. Banks always give loans to functioning and good
business houses like Bharathi Cements and it is known to TDP leaders and the
media house as well, he said.

Sitaramaiah, the auditor in question, is still
associated with TDP and is the member of the NTR Trust of which N Chandrababu
Naidu is the Managing Director and his wife Bhuvaneswari the other member.

“The
activities of the Trust are under scanner and there are many doubts as it is a
private property and TDP should come out clean keep the details of the Trust
open,” he said
