TDP Did Little for Women: Gowru Charitha Reddy

Hyderabad: YSRCP MLA Gowru Charitha Reddy exclaimed that the Government had always
waved empty hand at women in budget allocation. She remarked that women’s hopes
of getting something at least this time had gone in vain. She mentioned that
DWCRA women had not paid interest to their debts as the Government had
announced that their loans would be waived. Due to not paying them in time,
they also had to face penalty charges and harassment from banks, Charitha Reddy
informed.

She proclaimed that 84 lakhs of women were in trouble due to their loans
not being waived. She condemned woman organizations being insulted by the officials.
Charitha reminded that the CM had signed on five bills soon after coming into
power, among which one mentioned cancellation of belt shops. She slammed Babu
for allowing spread of belt shops over not cancelling them.
