Sobha dares Cong, TDP to face snap polls

Hyderabad, May 8, 2013: YSRCP on Wednesday challenged the
PCC chief BotchaSatyanarayana and the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu to come
forward for a snap poll in the state.

Addressing the media persons at the party head quarters
here, YSRCLP Deputy Leader Bhuma Sobha Nagi Reddy asked the congress why it did
not disqualify the 17 MLAs who voted against the party whip during the No
Confidence Motion if it was so confident of winning the elections.

Sobha said, like the BJP in Karnataka, the congress party
is bound to lose both at the centre and also in the state in the next
elections.

BJP lost the power due to internal bickerings in
Karnataka and in the same fashion the congress will lose in Andhra Pradesh
also, she said. The people voted for the congress in Karnataka as there was no
strong alternative, Sobha stated. “Here, people are not seeing congress and TDP
differently as they are hand in glove,” she charged.

Both the congress and TDP are afraid of going to polls,
she said. “Let the TDP move the No Confidence Motion, we will support it,”
Sobha assured.

People are waiting to make YSRCP President Sri Jaganmohan
Reddy the next chief Minister, she said, adding they are seeing the YSRCP as
the only alternative to both the Congress and the TDP in the state.

She faulted the TDP chief Chandrababu for being silent
against the CBI, even after the Supreme Court found fault with the attitude of
the Congress Government which has been meddling with the investigation process.
She said that  Chandrababu was keeping
quiet to escape from the CBI investigation on the charges he was facing. //
