Setback to Deputy CM in Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy murder case

In what could be seen as a shock to Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh KE Krishna Murthy, the Dhone court has directed the police to include Shyam Babu, son of the Deputy CM and two others as accused in the chargesheet pertaining to the sensational murder of Pattikonda YSRCP coordinator Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy. The court has also directed the police to arrest the troika.

Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy was brutally done to death on May 22 last year and his wife K Sridevi has approached the court complaining that the investigation into her husband’s murder was tardy and negligent. She said Shyam Babu, the prime accused, has managed to get his name deleted from the chargesheet. She petitioned to the court requesting that Shyam Babu, Aspari ZPTC member Kappatralla Bojjamma and the then Veldurthi CI Naga Tulasi Prasad be included in the chargesheet.
