Amaravathi: The state’s people have been expressing wrath against the fraud executed by the TDP leaders and the dishonesty of CRDA officials in the capital area. The farmers who had submitted their lands as part of land acquisition received land acquisition notices. The farmers who had already been frustrated by the issue of farm lease cheques, demanded the officials who came to Panchayati office. Upon receiving unsatisfactory response, their fury grew to a stage when they locked the officials up in the Panchayati office. They were ultimately released by the intervention of higher officials.
