Privilege Committee’s Notice To MLA Roja

Assembly’s privilege committee has sent a notice to MLA Roja asking her to
attend an inquiry on the 6^th of this month. In light of TDP MLA
Anitha’s complaint against Roja for her improper statements towards her, the
committee took up inquiry and issued this notice. But due to ill-health and
being admitted in NIMS hospital, MLA Roja could not attend the inquiry. She
sent this information to the committee in writing. On the other hand, Roja’s
petition challenging the verdict of the division bench in the High Court is
going to come to hearing on Monday.
