Chittoor: YSRCP MLA Desai Tippareddy responded regarding the election of Naresh Kumar as MLC in Chittoor district. He stated that he has not gone to appeal about MLC position challenging Naresh Kumar as he thought he did not need two political positions. It is known that the High Court had declared Naresh Kumar Reddy's victory over Tippareddy. He made it clear that due to his prior experience working as an MLC and due to not being interested in MLC position while being an MLA, he had not appealed in the High Court. He also mentioned that he had acted according to the suggestions of senior leaders of his party. Tippareddy stated that Naresh Kumar Reddy had earned the position of MLC with the help of Punganuru MLA and YSRCP General Secretary Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy and Rajampet MP Peddireddy Mithun Reddy. He also added that this decision had been made keeping in view the changing equations of the district's politics.
