Hyderabad: YSRCP's president of West Godavari district, Alla Nani and Allagadda leader Gangula Prabhakar Reddy, who had been selected as the party's candidates for MLC elections under YSRCP MLA quota, expressed their gratitude to the leader of opposition and YSRCP president, YS Jagan.
They met the party chief at the party's central office in Lotus Pond in Hyderabad on Thursday. Speaking to the media on this occasion, Alla Nani slammed the TDP leaders of West Godavari, who had betrayed the trust of the people who had voted for them. He thanked YS Jagan for selecting him as the candidate for MLC elections to bring the people's problems to the view of the houses of law and owed to make use of the opportunity and keep up the confidence of the party chief. He also promised to hinder the misdeeds of TDP leaders in the district and work for the consolidation of YSRCP.
Gangula Prabhakar Reddy, another candidate selected for MLC elections under MLA quota, spoke to express surprise at his selection and gratitude towards YS Jagan for giving him the opportunity. Owing to pay back YS Jagan's trust on him with hard work for the party's consolidation, Gangula said that he would do his part to hinder the atrocities of the TDP Government.
Gangula slammed the false cases filed against YS Jagan as he went to console the victims of the recent road accident of Krishna district and suggested that the Government should stop showing vengeful behaviour. He reminded how same kind of behaviour had been exhibited earlier at Visakhapatnam airport and opined that officials should act impartially.
