Hyderabad, Aug 30, 2013: With YSR Congress Chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy's health condition deteriorating rapidly due to his five days of indefinite fast, jail officials have shifted him to the Osmania General Hospital in the dead of the night on Friday with the help of the special police teams.
However, hospital authorities have said Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy has refused to be treated by the doctors and is continuing his Deeksha causing concern to the general public, Party activists and his fans.
YSRCP honouray president Smt. Y.S. Vijayamma, smt. Y.S Bharati and Brother Anil Kumar have visited the hospital and inquired about his health.
"He is continuing Deeksha in the hospital and has expressed his determination to continue his fast till justice is rendered by the Centre to all regions," Smt.Vijayamma later told reporters.
With the news spreading, hundreds of YSRCP activists started pouring in to the precincts of the hospital and the police have beefed up security in and around its premises. As surging crowds insisted on going inside the hospital, police have resorted to laticharge to disperse them.
Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy began his indefinite fast in the Chanchalguda jail Sunday morning demanding the Centre to keep the state united if equal justice can not be rendered by it to all regions while solving the T issue.
A team of specialists attending on the fasting leader conducted medical tests on him and requested him to call off his fast and cooperate for treatment.
