Jagan promises to change people's destiny

Kurnool, April 15, 2014: Launching a spirited attack
on TDP President Chandrababu Naidu as part of his renewed election campaign,
YSR Congress President Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy asked him why he didn’t
implement his present promises during his 9-year regime.

Addressing a huge YSR Jana Bheri public meeting at
Kurnool Monday evening, he said only 500 houses were sanctioned for every 100
Panchayats during Naidu regime and that too the houses were allotted only for
the TDP workers.

“It was Chandrababu who diluted the R. 2
a-kilo-scheme by enhancing its price to Rs.5. 25 subjecting the poor people to
difficulties,” he remarked, adding that Naidu has been raining fake promises day
in and day out.

Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy said that people suffered
heavily as they had no access to proper medical facilities during Naidu regime.
People had to sell off their properties for paying huge medical bills and tuition
fees to the medical and engineering colleges for their children, he charged

“It was YSR who brought the smiles on the faces of
the poor people by introducing the Arogya Sri and fee reimbursement Schemes,”
he said and reiterated: “You will get all these schemes back on track when
YSRCP assumes power.”

Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy said he would change the
course of the destiny of the state by first signing the files relating to the
schemes of Amma Vodi, pension to the aged, agricultural prices stabilization fund,
waiver of DWCKRA loans, administration at the door step of people, construction
of 50 lakh houses in five years, restructuring of the Arogya Scheme, 7-hour
free power supply to the farmers, supply of domestic power for a tariff of
Rs.100 up to 150 units, cancellation of belt shops and provision of education and
employment facilities for all.
