Tadepalli, Oct 1: Students from Vemuru in Bapatla district met YSRCP President and former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy at the party’s Central Office before leaving for higher studies in the United Kingdom.
The students informed YS Jagan that they had secured admissions at the University of Bristol under the National Overseas Scholarship scheme. Congratulating them, YS Jagan advised them to make the best use of the opportunity, pursue quality education, excel in their studies and grow into responsible citizens who contribute to society. He wished them success in their higher education.
The students told YS Jagan that initiatives taken in the education sector during his tenure as Chief Minister had helped create opportunities for students like them and supported their aspirations for a better future.
They also said Gautham, son of Vemuru YSRCP in-charge Varikuti Ashok Babu, had guided them in securing the admissions. YS Jagan appreciated Gautham for helping students from economically weaker backgrounds access higher education opportunities.
The students who met YS Jagan under the leadership of Varikuti Ashok Babu included Nadakurthi Alexander, Venu Vasumalla, Mulpuru Prasanna Kumari, Neeraja Bhupathi and Rohit Vasumalla.
