Hyderabad, Dec 26,
2012: The AP High Court will further hear arguments on the regular bail
petition of YSR Congress party Chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy on January 4,
2013.
Adjourning the
arguments on Wednesday, the High Court asked the CBI to submit a report on the
status of investigation into the cases registered against Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy
by January 4. “You informed the Supreme Court on Oct 5 that you would complete
the investigation within the next three months. This means you have to complete
the investigation by Jan 4,” the High Court reminded the CBI counsel and asked
him to submit the report on the status of the probe.
“There is no change in
the status between Oct 5 and now as the period of three months has not yet
completed,” Justice Seshasayana Reddy observed, adding that Jagan Mohan Reddy should
have applied for regular bail after completion of the said three months.
