An Eye-Opener For Chandrababu

Mydukuru: YSRCP is going to hold a dharna at Kadapa district's collectorate on the 29th of this month along with farmers. YSRCP MLAs and leaders mentioned that Chandrababu was not caring about the problems of farmers in Rayalaseema area and that this dharna was intended to be an eye-opener for the state Government. Although Srisailam reservoir had 150 TMC of water reserve, the Government was neglecting to release water to KC canal and Telugu Ganga, they complained. They mentioned that most of the farmers in the district were cultivating under KC canal's area and that they were worried about the release of water to Kharif crops.

They demanded the district officials to assure an assurance from the Government for release of water by the 15th of January. They criticised that Chandrababu was hardly showing any commitment towards Rayalaseema. They slammed Chandrababu for breaking his promise of providing 12 TMS of water to Telugu Ganga and release of water to Gandikota.
