TDP cannot tolerate YS Jagan’s popularity

Tadepalli, Dec 27: YSRCP Women Wing President and  MLC Varudu Kalyani strongly criticised the TDP leadership, stating that they are unable to digest the massive public response to YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s birthday celebrations. She said Home Minister Anitha, in particular, has lost her balance and is making baseless allegations, including over so-called “animal sacrifice,” while remaining silent when similar incidents occurred during Balakrishna’s film releases or even on Chandrababu Naidu’s own birthday. She accused the government of foisting false cases on YSRCP cadres and warned that every act of harassment is being noted, asserting that the party will give a fitting reply when it returns to power.

She described Home Minister Anitha as utterly incompetent, stating that under her watch the police system has fallen to the 36th position in the country. Instead of abusing the opposition, she should first fix the collapsing police administration, she said. Varudu Kalyani demanded action against TDP leaders indulging in lawlessness and questioned why no action has been taken against Minister Sandhya Rani’s PA Satish, who is accused of harassing a woman. She remarked that the Home Minister is unable to tolerate even a movie dialogue, while ignoring the kind of aggressive and offensive dialogues routinely seen in Balakrishna’s films.

She further accused TDP’s social media machinery of behaving irresponsibly and spreading venom, recalling how their online harassment allegedly pushed a young woman from Tenali, Geethanjali, to suicide. Referring to the Kadiri incident, she said it became clear how desperate the Home Minister was once it emerged that Ajay Deva was not even a YSRCP activist. She alleged that Anitha’s only job seems to be abusing YS Jagan Mohan Reddy rather than discharging constitutional responsibilities.

Varudu Kalyani also attacked Chandrababu Naidu for his personal conduct, questioning what property he ever gave to his own mother or sister, and pointing out that despite building a grand Raj Bhavan-like residence in Hyderabad, he did not even accommodate them. She said the Home Minister would do well to speak on such issues instead of targeting the opposition. She urged the government to uphold Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s Constitution instead of running the state through a “red book constitution,” and noted that even the Central Government has expressed concern over the poor response of Andhra Pradesh police to emergency calls. Concluding, she asserted that YSRCP cadres will not be intimidated by false cases and warned the ruling party that repression will only invite a stronger political response. “TDP Cannot Tolerate Jagan’s Popularity; Home Minister Has Failed Completely”
