Defeat TDP,Cong money power in local polls

Vizianagaram, June 17,
2013: YSR Congress party honourary president Smt. Y.S.Vijayamma asked the party
leaders and activists to reply to the criticism of the ruling Congress and
opposition TDP by winning the majority panchayats in the local body polls.

Addressing the regional
meeting of the party leaders and activists of north Andhra at Vizianagaram on
Sunday, Smt. Vijayamma condemned the propaganda that party chief Sri Y.S. Jagan
Mohan Reddy wouldn’t come out of the jail and the party has no cadre base.

“We shall give a
fitting reply to this criticism by winning majority panchayats in the local
body elections. We shall prepare for the 2014 elections with the local body
polls,” she told them.

Asking the party
leaders to be cautious of Congress and TDP joining hands together in the local
body elections again as they did in the co-operative society and other by-elections
in the past, she said the two parties are likely to cause difficulties to the
YSRCP cadres again with their money and liquor power.

“You shall fulfill the
dreams of YSR by overcoming such hurdles and bringing victory to the YSRCP in
the local body polls,” she called upon the party leaders.

Smt. Vijayamma said TDP
chief Chandrababu Naidu has been leading a political life of dishonesty ever
since he entered politics. He has been proving his dishonesty even now by
supporting the anti-people policies of the Congress government and joining
hands with it in every election.
