Chandrababu cheated Kapu community

Amaravati: YSR Congress Party official spokesperson Ambati Rambabu said Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu had cheated the Kapu community. The AP CM had promised in last election manifesto that Kapu community would be included under BC within six months after coming to power, but till date nothing has happened, he said.

Speaking at the YSRCP party office here today, Ambati reminded that only after Mudragada took to agitation, Chandrababu instituted the Kapu commission. He said that YSRCP had supported Mudragada's Kapu reservations agitation. The state government was trying to hush up the issue by not placing the report of Manjunath commission and trying to portray that the issue is with the Central government. He demanded that the Manjunath commission report be made public.

The YSRCP spokesperson said that Chandrababu had promised Rs 5000 crores for Kapu community development in five years but till date he has allocated only Rs 1300 crores. Chandrababu was used to making false promises and stabbing people in the back. The interest of AP CM was only Kapu vote bank and not their community's welfare, he pointerd out.

Ambati called upon the Kapu community not to sleep until Chandrababu, who failed to stand by his words, was dethroned. He reminded the words of YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy that once his party comes to power Rs 10,000 crores would be allocated for Kapu community welfare. The TDP leaders were trying to twist the statements of YS Jagan on Kapu reservations, he added.
