Both Kiran and Naidu are coverts of Sonia: YSRCP

Hyderabad, Oct 28, 2013: Calling CM Kiran Kumar Reddy
and TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu as coverts of Congress Party chief Sonia Gandhi
working for bifurcation of the state, YSR Congress party on Monday stated that
both Congress and TDP leaders are making baseless allegations against party
chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy out of pure frustration unable to withstand
the success of Samaikya Sankharavam public meeting.

Addressing media persons here, party MLA and
spokesman G.Srikanth Reddy said that both Kiran Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu are
covertly cooperating with the Congress high command in facilitating smooth
bifurcation of the state. “We understand that Kiran Kumar accepted the position
of CM by agreeing to the party high command’s condition that he will cooperate
with the bifurcation of the state,” he said.

Srikanth Reddy asked Kiran Kumar Reddy to convene the
assembly at least now on the AP Formation Day on Nov 1 to adopt a resolution in
favour of keeping the state untied and prove his pro-united AP stand. Similarly,
Chandrababu Naidu also should withdraw his support letter given for bifurcating
the state.

Asserting that Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is the only
leader who stood his ground for keeping the state untied from the very
beginning, Srikanth Reddy said APNGOs and others played their role well in the
Samaikyandhra agitation after the July 30 decision of the CWC. “However, Kiran
and Naidu failed to reflect the aspirations of the Seemandhra people and are
only enacting dramas to hoodwink them,” he alleged, accusing Kiran of dousing
the flames of Seemandhra agitation.

“If
Kiran really wanted to keep AP united, he should have resigned immediately
after the CWC decision. But, till date, he is sticking to his post and signing
files. It is shameful to think of Kiran and Naidu,” he remarked. Reacting to
the allegations of Congress MP Lagadapati and former Minister JC Diwakar Reddy,
he said they are making false allegations and throwing mud on Sri Jagan Mohan
Reddy only to secure their political future.
