YSRCP slams TDP’s plot to frame party leaders in Guntur murder case

Guntur, May 25: Former Minister Ambati Rambabu condemned the TDP for falsely implicating YSRCP leaders Pinnelli Ramakrishna Reddy and Venkata Rami Reddy in the murder of TDP workers Jevishetti Venkateswarlu and Koteswara Rao in Gundlapadu, Palnadu. Speaking at Party office here on Sunday, Rambabu asserted that the killings stemmed from TDP’s internal factional disputes, as confirmed by the district SP and reported by Eenadu and Andhra Jyothi. 
He stated thaf TDP MLA Julakanti Brahma Reddy pressuring police to file a baseless FIR against YSRCP leaders, despite evidence, including a Scorpio vehicle bearing the MLA’s name, pointing to TDP’s involvement. 
Relatives, including Jelishetti Anjaneyulu, also blamed a rival TDP faction. Rambabu criticized the police for succumbing to TDP’s political pressure, citing past abuses like the harassment of YSRCP worker Harikrishna and the transfer of DSP Jagadeesh for resisting false cases. 
He demanded an impartial investigation and accountability for those framing YSRCP leaders. “TDP’s conspiracy to defame us will fail. We will fight for justice,” Rambabu declared, warning of consequences for complicit officers.
