YSRCP slams Naidu’s derogatory remarks, anti-Dalit actions

Tadepalli/Visakhapatnam, July 3: YSRCP former Minister Sake Sailajanath, alongside YSRCP SC Cell Working President Kommuri Kanaka Rao and Party State General Secretary Jupudi Prabhakar, criticized Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu for equating Sattenapalli’s deceased Dalit, Singaiah, with a dog, labeling it a vile display of casteist arrogance.
Speaking at the YSRCP Central Office in Tadepalli, Sailajanath highlighted Singaiah’s wife, Lourdu Mary, who exposed suspicious circumstances surrounding her husband’s death, alleging he was conscious post-accident but died under unclear conditions after being moved to an ambulance. She stated that Nara Lokesh’s men intimidated her for speaking out, revealing Naidu’s plot to defame Former CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Sailajanath condemned Naidu’s 45-year political career marked by unchanged derogatory rhetoric against Dalits, citing incidents like the Tenali police brutality, Chandragiri assault on a Dalit woman, and Mangalagiri’s road purification ritual as evidence of systemic anti-Dalit actions under Naidu’s regime. He questioned Naidu’s accountability for deaths during the Godavari Pushkaralu (29 fatalities), Kandukuru roadshow (7 deaths), and Guntur saree distribution (3 women killed), where Naidu was present.
Kanaka Rao demanded a probe into Lourdu Mary’s allegations, slamming Naidu’s attempt to politicize Dalit deaths. “How could Naidu’s conscience allow comparing a Dalit to a dog?” Kanakaraju asked, urging an end to exploiting marginalized communities.
Jupudi Prabhakar criticised Naidu for resorting to diversion politics to deflect attention from unfulfilled promises, suppressing YSRCP’s voice, and obstructing YS Jagan’s public tours by denying permissions or offering unsafe landing sites for his helicopter.
Prabhakar condemned Naidu’s “corpse politics,” stating he and Lokesh spread false propaganda against YS Jagan, including through artificial intelligence, driven by jealousy over Jagan’s public support. He highlighted governance failures, including serving contaminated food to students, a cockroach found in Home Minister Anita’s meal, and mortgaging public assets for loans. Prabhakar demanded answers for the Pushkaralu deaths and criticized the coalition government for betraying voters, cutting welfare programs like Thalli Ki Vandanam, and neglecting public welfare.
