YSRCP flays coalition on RLI

Hyderabad, Jan 9: YSRCP has slammed the coalition for its irrelevant and irresponsible remarks on Rayalaseema Lift Irrigation (RLI) Scheme.
Speaking to media here on Friday, Party General Secretary Gadikota Srikanth Reddy said, the coalition is trying to spread a false narrative and create confusion by bringing up Muchumarri project and trying to link it with RLI which is not the case and demanded that RLI should be completed immediately.
Chandrababu's bluff is called with the statement of Revanth Reddy on the floor of the house and the coalition has regrets for their irresponsible remarks which have hurt sentiments of the people of Rayalaseema.
They have been leveling false allegations only to deny the credit due to Jagan with jealousy.
Instead of taking corrective steps, Chandrababu has been resorting to lies and counterattack, he said.
The publicised Muchumarri project was started by Dr YSR and the irrigation minister has no knowledge about his department and lacks basic knowledge on irrigation, he said.
Chandrababu has defiled Polavaram for his selfish means by taking it over from Centre and made a mess of it.
People are ready to battle it out for RLI as they have an attachment.
YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has taken steps to make Rayalaseema verdant while Chandrababu has scant respect for the region.
Chandrababu has been pumping money in Amaravati at the cost of other regions, he said.
