Vijayasai Reddy hits out at Yellow media

Hyderabad: With relief operations proceeding smoothly after Cyclone Fani, the yellow media is out to tarnish the image of official machinery said Rajya Sabha MP and YSR Congress Party general secretary, V. Vijayasai Reddy in a series of tweets. Hitting out at the yellow media for indulging in mud-slinging on the official machinery and alleging that food was not being supplied in relief camps in Srikakulam, he pointed out that TDP cadre was being used to criticize official machinery.
Vijayasai Reddy slammed chief minister Chandrababu Naidu for hiking the remuneration of the state Grandhalaya Samstha, Dasari Raja, from Rs.50,000 to Rs. 2,00,000. He questioned the rationale of orders passed on April 19 for arrears amounting to Rs. 24 lakhs to be released and asked Chandrababu whether he would give a 200 per cent raise in the case of a Heritage employee.
Chandrababu is threatening officials and claiming that victory is his to indulge in malpractices on the day of counting, Vijayasai Reddy said. He remarked sarcastically that TDP would be lucky to get opposition status. He pointed out that Chandrababu Naidu did not get his son Lokesh, to resign from the position of MLC, because he was uncertain of his victory in Mangalagiri. In his tweet, Vijayasai Reddy wondered derisively how far Chandrababu Naidu's fight against EVMs had progressed.
