Dasari Balavardhan Rao Joins YSRCP

Amaravati: The ruling TDP has received a fresh jolt in Andhra Pradesh in the Gannavaram constituency, with former MLA and Krishna district Vijaya Dairy director Dasari Balavardhan Rao resigning from his position and joining the YSR Congress Party.

Balavardhan Rao met Leader of Opposition in Andhra Pradesh legislative assembly and YSR Congress party president, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who welcomed into the party. Rajya Sabha member and senior YSRCP leader, V. Vijayasai Reddy and Balavardhan Rao's brother, Dasari Jai Ramesh were also present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Dasari Balavardhan Rao said that Gannavaram constituency was among the worst affected by TDP's misrule. He asserted that the situation at the ground level would improve only if the YSRCP comes to power. Balavardhan Rao predicted a massive win for YSRCP in the upcoming elections. He stated that YS Jagan would usher in Rajanna Rajyam covering all sections of society.

Balavardhan Rao clarified that he did not seek any assurances from YSRCP and that he would work for the success of the party under the leadership of YS Jagan.
