YSRCP top brass lambasts TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu for deceiving people in order to retain power

YSRCP's 'Samajika Sadhikara' bus yatra, now in its seventh day in Guntur East constituency, witnessed an enthusiastic response from the public, underscoring the widespread support for the message of social and political empowerment for the underprivileged.

The day began with the YSRCP regional coordinators, including Alla Ayodhya Rami Reddy, Marri Rajasekhar, Minister Adimulapu Suresh, District President Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad, and MLA Mohammad Mustafa Sheikh, meeting with a group of influencers from the constituency. They elaborated on CM Jagan's unwavering commitment to investing in human capital, particularly in marginalized communities. Emphasizing a series of welfare schemes tailored to empower the BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities, previously regarded as mere vote banks, they are now considered the 'backbone' of Andhra Pradesh.

Following the meeting, the leaders paid a floral tribute to the grand bronze statue of late Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy. They then flagged off a bus yatra and a bike rally, featuring over 1,000 bikes, 60 autorickshaws, and a chariot adorned with a 10-foot cutout of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy. These events culminated in a massive public meeting at King Hotel Junction in town.

Addressing the large gathering, Social Welfare Minister Merugu Nagarjuna hailed the wide range of welfare schemes, primarily aimed at uplifting the BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities. These schemes have positioned CM Jagan as a beacon of social revolution in the country. Nagarjuna contrasted the previous TDP regime, where marginalized communities faced exploitation, humiliation, and deceit, with CM Jagan's benevolent rule, which has brought welfare and prosperity. He urged the public to unite and support YSRCP to ensure the prosperity of all regions and all sections of society in Andhra Pradesh, not just a select few capitalists, as was the case during the TDP regime.

MLA Mustafa expressed gratitude to CM Jagan for his relentless efforts in developing AP, putting it on the world map, and fulfilling the aspirations of his late father, CM YSR..

Minister Chelluboyina Venugopal lauded CM Jagan, as the visionary leader who granted statehood to BCs, SCs, STs, and Minorities alike. He recalled divisive remarks made by former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu and questioned his leadership. He reminded the people about the time when Naidu had spoken about cutting the tails of BCs and even questioned as to who would want to willingly be born into the SC community.

MP Mopidevi Venkata Ramana said, ‘Even after 75 years of independence, poverty still haunts our nation. With his bold and decisive moves, CM Jagan has not just embraced this challenge; he's made it his mission to eradicate poverty AP. While leaders in the past only chanted hollow slogans, it is CM Jagan who has truly worked on it and transformed the state.’

Hailing CM Jagan for his unwavering commitment to uplifting the weaker sections, Minister Adimulapu Suresh said that a whopping Rs 2.31 lakh crore had been dedicated to BC, SC, ST, and Minority communities in the last 4 and a half years. He questioned why the previous TDP regime failed to extend the same kind of welfare given that they claimed to have a similar budget for the same. MLA Hafeez Khan, MLCs Lella Appi Reddy, Janga Krishnamurthy, and Yesu Ratnam were among other senior leaders present at the public rally symbolising a single, unified front against the entire Opposition.
