YSR Aarogyasri Beneficiaries To Get Super Specialties Treatment In 130 Top Hospitals In 3 Cities

AMARAVATI: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has launched prestigious YSR Aarogyasri scheme linking Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru cities. With this launch, the Aarogyasri beneficiaries from Andhra Pradesh will get super specialties treatment in 130 top hospitals that are being located in the above three cities.
All the YSR Aarogyasri beneficiaries can now avail 716 types of treatments in 17 specialities.
YS Jagan launched a poster with the list of extended medical services which the state government will be providing and instructed all gram secretariats to put up the posters across villages so that common man can come to know about the scheme.
He also held a video conference with the doctors and Aarogyasri beneficiaries who went for treatment in Hyderabad, Chennai and Bengaluru hospitals.
In the video conference with Hyderabad Medicover Hospital doctor Krishna Prasad, the AP CM inquired about the treatment which was being provided to Kurnool Aarogyasri beneficiary Netti Kuntaiha. Prasad explained about Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG) which was being done on the patient. YS Jagan also interacted with Netti and inquired about her health and asked her about the facilities of the hospital.
In another video conference with doctors of MIOT International Best Multi Speciality Hospital in Chennai, the AP CM inquired about the treatment being provided to one-year-old boy Lokeswar. Doctors explained YS Jagan about ileostomy operation, which involves removing the damaged part from the ileum in the abdominal wall. He also intructed MIOT doctors to provide good healthcare to the child.
Speaking to doctors of Fortis Hospital in Bengaluru over video conference, YS Jagan inquired about the medication that was provided to Anantapur's Arogyasri beneficiary B. Sumitra. Fortis doctors also explained the CM about Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL), a treatment which uses shock waves to break kidney stones of the patient Sumitra.
YS Jagan instructed doctors to provide all the required facilities to Aarogyasri beneficiaries.
YS Jagan who came to know the about the AP people problems due to non implementation of Arogyasri scheme to the beneficiaries if they gets treated in multi specialty hospitals of other states.
He had promised to include the medical allowances to the Arogyasri beneficiaries if they gets treated in other states and included that in Navaratnalu.
The government is providing 17 specialities and these many types of treatments will be treated. These are the types.
