Event Highlights:
Sri Michael Wood, in his keynote address, praised Dr. YSR as a visionary and people-centric leader, highlighting his rare achievement of winning every election he contested.
Convenor Nelluri Bujji Babu emphasized that YSR was a leader who deeply understood the needs of the common people. He pioneered transformative welfare programs like Aarogyasri and the 108 Ambulance Service, which were among the first of their kind globally. He called YSR an inspiration for youth worldwide, noting that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is continuing this legacy with progressive reforms in health, education, and rural development, including Village Secretariats and Rythu Bharosa Kendras.
Co-Convenor Anand Reddy Yeddula reflected on YSR’s contributions as both a doctor and a statesman, particularly his introduction of fee reimbursement and free housing schemes, which empowered the underprivileged with education and shelter.

Community Engagement:
To mark the occasion, a blood donation and plasma drive was successfully organized by Convenor Bujje Babu Nelluri and his team. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the community.
Leaders and attendees shared personal memories of YSR Garu and celebrated his legacy with heartfelt tributes, culminating in a cake-cutting ceremony in his honour.
Over 200 guests attended the celebrations, enjoying a vibrant cultural program and authentic Telugu cuisine. The event was widely appreciated for its thoughtful execution and strong sense of community.
