Chief Minister has come out making another big false promise
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is synonymous to betrayal politics and duping people. In yet another attempt to cheat DWACRA women, the Chief Minister has come out making another big false promise of Rs 10,000 to each dwacra member and a smart phone.
It was chandrababu who made the promise of waiver of all DWACRA loans taken by women groups in 2014 elections. After coming to power, the TDP government neither write off the loans nor extended fresh loans. During YS Rajasekhara Reddy government, Dwacra women were provided loans at zero interest and they were given flexibility to repay loans.
In the Chandrababu government, 14 percent interest was collected from the women groups who took fresh loans after 2014 elections. As a result, every woman member was forced to pay Rs 30,000 interest on the loans for the last five years. As his government is set to dissolve in a two month time, the chief minister unfolded fresh drama to deceive women. In the meetings with DWACRA groups, he announced financial incentives to every group but none of them get the amount.
Chandrababu had also taken up a campaign with the support of lower rung officials to create an impression that all sections are happy in TDP government. The ground reality is not single section in Andhra Pradesh satisfied with the present government.
