Punganuru: YSRCP's state general secretary and Punganuru MLA, Dr. Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, declared that they would work for the consolidation of the party in rural areas.
He held Gadapagadpaku YSR Congress programme in Punganuru mandal on Tuesday. During the event, villagers from the mandal joined YSRCP in great numbers, defecting TDP. Peddireddy welcomed them into the party by decorating them with the party's scarves.
Speaking on this occasion, the MLA remarked that people of TDP were joining YSRCP, disgusted by the misdeeds going on in the party and confided that YSRCP president, YS Jagan, would soon become the CM of the state.
