YSRC to conduct dharnas on Sept 26

Hyderabad, Sept 24, 2012: YSR Congress, which is opposing the bus fare hike and collection of surcharge on power bills, has announced it will organize protest programmes in all district centers on Sept 26.
YSR Congress leaders and activists will resort to Dharnas at all District Collectorates opposing the Government’s decisions, according to a statement issued by the party here today.
YSR Congress honourary president Smt. YS Vijyamma and other leaders have already asked the Government not to hike the bus fares as it would cause additional burden to the common man and warned of an agitation if the Government went ahead with its decision.
The party has found fault with the Government for not discussing the issue of fare increase or power surcharge in the assembly and choosing to hike the charges immediately after the 5-day monsoon session of the assembly has ended.
