Tadepalli, March 16: A key meeting of Assembly constituency observers of the YSR Congress Party was held at the party’s central office in Tadepalli under the chairmanship of party State Coordinator Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. The meeting focused on strengthening the party organisationally from the grassroots level and preparing for future elections. Addressing the observers, Sajjala said the YSRCP has successfully completed 15 years and entered its 16th foundation year, growing as a party rooted in people’s aspirations and guided by values and credibility under the leadership of party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. He said the party’s strength lies in the trust it has built among people and called upon leaders and cadres to carry forward those principles while further strengthening the organisation.

Sajjala emphasised that organisational consolidation is crucial for future electoral success and directed observers to enhance coordination at all levels and strengthen the party structure at the grassroots. He asked them to ensure completion of party committees and continuously monitor their functioning while acting as a support system for constituency in-charges. He called on party leaders to take the welfare initiatives implemented during the YS Jagan government to every household and simultaneously expose the deceptive policies of the present coalition government. He urged the cadre to counter the TDP’s fake propaganda and paid campaigns with facts and effective communication. Stressing the importance of strengthening affiliated wings, he said active workers must be identified and given opportunities, with representation ensured for all sections of society in party committees.

He also highlighted that booth-level organisation is vital for electoral victory and instructed leaders to focus on appointing booth-level agents, forming task forces where required and closely monitoring voter list revisions to ensure that party supporters’ votes are not removed. He said the strength of YSRCP lies in the unity of lakhs of committed workers and called on the cadre to stay prepared for future political battles. Sajjala added that party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is continuously reviewing the formation of committees and emphasised that every leader and worker must work together to strengthen the party from the village level to the state level in line with people’s aspirations.

MLC and party general secretary Lella Appireddy also addressed the meeting, stating that the programmes undertaken by Y.S. Jagan across the state are receiving tremendous public response and drawing massive crowds wherever he goes. He said Assembly constituency observers play a crucial role in strengthening the party and must work actively to ensure victory for constituency in-charges. He noted that YSRCP has built a strong organisational network from village committees to the state level with nearly 16 lakh active members and said observers must further energise this cadre base. Appireddy urged leaders to stay vigilant on issues such as voter list revisions and local body elections, stressing that unity, coordination and discipline within the party would ensure its return to power. He called on observers to honour the trust placed in them by party president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and work collectively to achieve victory in upcoming elections.
