Mahabubnagar, Dec 26,
2012: YSR Congress party’s 48-hour Rytu Deeksha began here today to highlight
the distress of the cotton and dairy farmers in the state.
Party district unit
convener E. Krishna Reddy and district unit farmers’ wing convener
Vishnuvardhan Reddy began the Deeksha at the Telangana Chaurasta in the town in
the presence of party farmers’ wing convener Nagi Reddy.
Speaking on the occasion,
Nagi Reddy said that Government has not been paying attention to the farmers’s
problems in the state. “The farmers in the Mahabubnagar district are migrating
to other districts due to severe drought but the Government is not concerned a
little about it,” Nagi Reddy said.
