Hyderabad,
May 18, 2013: YSR Congress is committed for the safety of the people of the state who
are languishing in
Dubai

jails and are facing hardships in wake of the new labour laws that would be
coming in to force soon.

“YSRCP delegation has visited Dubai and
Nepal

and held discussions with the concerned authorities. On the instructions of our
party president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy we have announced that we will pay the dues

Dubai
jails,” party leader KK Mahender Reddy

As there was no positive
response from the
Union and State governments,
the party has taken a decision to provide legal support to the families who
reside in Sircilla and take up the issue with a long term perspective.

Earlier, many leaders from
Sircilla and Vemulawada had promised to help them but it did not come through.

YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had told
our Party Honarary President YS Vijayamma that our party should take a positive
stand help them in possible way and planned to pay the amount due to the
Dubai
government, he
said. We have taken up the process in all seriousness and are pursuing the
cause, he said.

“TRS leaders had suddenly came
out of the slumber and paid Rs 15 lakhs, to the families who have to remit it
to
Dubai

authorities to get their men back. We welcome this move as our prime concern is
the safety of the Telugu people in
Dubai
,”
he said.

At the same time, Mahender
Reddy had asked TRS not to politicise the
Dubai

issue but work with all earnestness.

YSRSCP is committed for the
cause and with new labour laws coming into force there would be many more
persons who need help from people back home, he said.
