YSRCP Walks Out of Assembly

Hyderabad: YSR Congress
Party walked out of assembly today in protest to the Government’s negligence
towards fighting drought. YSRCP MLAs Srikanth Reddy, Visweswar Reddy and Chand
Basha raised questions regarding drought during the question hour of assembly.
They brought to the notice of the house that input subsidy was not being given
and steps were not being taken for the supply of drinking water. Deputy Chief Minister
Chinarajappa responded to these questions. Then YSRCP president and leader of
opposition YS Jagan interfered and exposed the Government’s inattention to the
issue of drought supported by numbers. He then announced that members of YSRCP
would walk out on this.
