Hyderabad, Jan 8: Affirming that YSR
Congress will go it alone in the ensuing GHMC elections and will not have
tie-up with any party, YSR Congress has said that only it has the moral right
to claim for the development of the city and seek votes.
‘It was under the leadership of Dr.
YS Rajasekhar Reddy that the city has grown in leaps and bounds and only our
party has the moral right to seek votes in the GHMC polls,’ Party Telangana
President P Srinivas Reddy told reporters here on Friday.
It was YSR who has developed the
infrastructure facilities including the International Airport, Outer Ring Road
and was instrumental in bringing the Krishana and Godvari waters to the city,
despite false claims by others.
It was YSR who has expanded the limits of the municipality to Greater
Hyderabad and developed the peripheries with proper infrastructure and we merit
the first place to seek votes, he said adding that a committee would be formed
to finalise other issues
