YSRCP flays TDP leaders

Hyderabad,
Nov 27: YSR Congress has upped the ante against the TDP leaders who have been
calling YS Jagan Mohan Reddy names ever since he said that a day will come when
people will resort to pelting stones on Chandrababu Naidu if he fails fulfill
the poll promises.

“What our
leader has said was in a figurative sense that people will vent their ire if
they are deceived by not honouring the poll promises and TDP leaders passing
snide remarks and on the psychiatric status of YS Jagan Mohan  is uncalled
for and ridiculous,” party spokesperson Ambati Rambabu told reporters here on
Thursday.

“Though
it is not our policy to attack people on personal deficiencies since, the TDP
leaders have gone overboard, it should be recalled that Chadrababu Naidu’s
brother-in-law N Balakrishna was pronounced as mentally unsound after the
shoot-out at his residence.

The Chief
Minister’s younger brother also has mental illness and when it comes to health
condition, mental or otherwise on relative terms between the Chief Minister and
N Chandrababu Naidu and YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, it is common knowledge as to who
is healthier,” he said.

As a
responsible opposition party it is our duty to warn the government when it is
drifting away from the welfare measure and our Party President, during a review
meeting has passed the remark keeping that in mind as a metaphor. The escapism
of TDP government has hurt the belief of farmers, students, youth, women and
all sections as the poll promise were not kept, he said.

TDP
leaders taking it in real terms have launched an uncalled for personal attack
and they should verify facts before going to press, he said adding that the TDP
should concentrate on ways and means to fulfill the poll promises instead of
using their lung power unnecessarily.
