YSR the real messiah of Muslims

Narasaraopet: YSRCP MLA Dr. Gopireddy Srinivasa Reddy on Friday hailed the late chief minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy for his compassionate approach towards all sections of society. 

He said that YSR is the real messiah of the Muslim community. Dr. Reddy presented new dress to Imams and Moujams serving in 27 Mosques in Narsaraopet town on the eve of Ramadan. 

Speaking on the occasion Dr. Reddy said that the late YSR is the only leader who really served the interests of poor Muslims. It was YSR who provide 7 percent reservation in employment and education for Muslims he said. 

Taking a dig at TDP government the YSRCP legislator said that the government failed to fulfill its promise to enhance Imams and Moujams honorarium to Rs.5, 000 and Rs.3, 000 respectively and promised to enhance the same to Rs. 7,000 and Rs.5000 respectively, if YSRCP voted to power. He further said that he will take the issue to the notice of party president YS Jagan and see that the promise is included in the election manifest.
