YSR Congress party senior leader and Lok Sabha MP Vara Prasad said all the party MPs will quit their posts in protest against centre's indifference towards accepting the demand for special status to Andhra Pradesh.
He alleged that the state and union government's decieved people by not fulfilling the promise made in the Parliament .
Stating that his party has been fighting for special category status to the residuary state for the last four years, Vara Prasad said the resignation of MPs is last option before the party to fulfill the aspirations of Andhra people. After submitting resignation letters, the party MPs will sit on indefinite hunger strike at AP Bhavan in New Delhi. The party will continue its fight until the demand is fulfilled.
