Opposition party is fight for Special status
The leader of Opposition, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is prepared to fight for the Special status against the ruling party Chief, Nara Chandrababu Naidu. He is about to start indefinite hunger strike from September 26th with Guntur as Venue.
YS Jagan met his party presidents from all the districts of the state at the party office in Lotus pond, Hyderabad. He discussed with the party leaders and on their consultation, he finalized the date of initiation. He also instructed his party members few orders to be followed.
It is well known that a resolution was passed in the assembly session about the Special Status. However, to strengthen the resolution, YS Jagan demanded that Naidu has to see that the Central Ministers withdrew from their positions.
Based on this, Jagan imposed deadline to Chandrababu Naidu, until September 15. If the special status is not coming till 15th, he is going on an indefinite hunger strike in Guntur to warn the government. However, because of Ganesh Chaturthi, and suggestions given by the party's leaders, YS Jagan postponed the fast. Party have assembled today to declare the date of initiation.
