YS Jagan Condoles Mahendra's Suicide Over SCS

Visakhapatnam: Mahendra (14) committed suicide because of the denial of special category status to Andhra Pradesh which, in turn, left his brother unemployed, he felt.

Leader of the Opposition in AP Legislative Assembly, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed his shock at the loss of a young life full of promise. He conveyed his deep sorrow to members of the bereaved family. 

YS Jagan said that the YSR Congress Party would continue to wage a sustained struggle for Special Category Status to the state even after it comes to power. He also vowed to achieve SCS for AP at any cost. He also appealed to the youth of the state to show patience under the prevailing circumstances and not to resort to hasty, emotional steps.
