YS Jagan condemns highhandedness of police

YSR Congress Party president and Leader of Opposition in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly YS Jagan Mohan Reddy  slammed the TDP Government's discrimination towards women.

YSRCP MLA Roja was prevented from attending the National Women's Parliament in Amaravati despite being officially invited by the organisers and she was detained at the airport on Satrurday.

YS Jagan has strongly criticised the police highhandedness and questioned the government that If it can treat an MLA in such a way, what safety do women have in this society?.
The YSRCP chief also said that the TDP leaders made a mockery of the National Women's Parliament
"If the Govt can treat an MLA in such a way, what safety do women have in this society? Having invited and then restraining her from attending, they made a mockery of the National Women's Parliament. We will move all appropriate forums on this issue," YS Jagan tweeted.
