Tadepalli, July 26: Former MLA and YSRCP SC Cell President TJR Sudhakar Babu condemned Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu’s administration for orchestrating a politically motivated drama through the Special Investigation Team (SIT) to obstruct bail for Vicat Group Director Balaji Govindappa, arrested 75 days ago in the alleged liquor case.
Speaking at YSRCP’s central office, Sudhakar Babu accused Naidu of fabricating a non-existent scandal to divert attention from governance failures and unfulfilled promises like Super Six and Super Seven. Despite no evidence, SIT conducted searches at Balaji’s Hyderabad residence and Bharati Cements, part of the globally renowned Vicat Group, to create a false narrative. Sudhakar Babu alleged Naidu’s government is intimidating industrialists, citing raids on companies like Ultra Tech and Chettinad Cements for bribes and contracts. He highlighted TDP leaders’ extortion, including attacks on Jindal Steels and port security, driving investments worth Rs. 3 lakh crore out of Andhra Pradesh. “Naidu’s vindictive politics and yellow media propaganda aim to tarnish YSRCP while harassing investors, pushing industries out of the state,” Sudhakar Babu asserted, urging the public to see through this diversionary tactic.
