Nalgonda: A, East Godavari youth has taken up padayatra from Hyderabad to Vijayawada to offer prayers at the famed Kanakadurga temple.
He is fulfilling this arduous vow to seek divine blessings for YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Satish, a native of East Godavari, but currently living in Hyderabad’s Qutbullahpur wants to see YS Jagan Mohan Reddy as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh.
On Tuesday, he started off from the YSRCP central office in Lotus Pond and reached Narketpalli. He said the welfare schemes introduced during YSR’s regime were useful for the people of the state, especially the poor. But, the present government is doing nothing. Corruption has reached Himalayan heights, he said and hoped that the situation would change for the better only when YS Jagan becomes the chief minister of the state.
