Yellow media, CBI, ED form anti-Jagan axis

Hyderabad, April 20,
2013: YSR Congress Party on Saturday alleged that the yellow media, CBI and ED
are acting in tandem against YSRCP chief Sri Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy to malign
him.

Addressing a press meet
here, YSR Congress Legislature party whip Balineni Srinivasa Reddy said if the
TDP’s captive media Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy are the Ragam, CBI is Tanam and
Enforcement Directorate has become the Pallavi of the anti-Jagan Mohan Reddy
axis.

He accused the CBI and
Enforcement Directorate of acting at the behest of the yellow media of TDP
which has conspired with the Congress in order to ensure the denial of bail to
YSRCP chief Sri Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“Though Sri Jagan Mohan
Reddy or Brother Anil Kumar had nothing to do with the Bayyaram mines,
concerted mudslinging propaganda was carried out by the captive media of the
TDP against them,” he said.

Referring to the statement
of TDP leader Dadi Veerabhadra Rao just ahead of the 2012 June by-polls that
YSR family tried to grab the Bayyaram mines worth Rs. 14 lakh cores and its
publication in Eenadu, Balineni said if the mines were worth that much as TDP
publicized, let its industrialist-MP Nama Nageswara Rao take it for half the
price or at least for one-tenth of its value. Still, they are continuing the
malicious propaganda, he said.

The entire campaign was
only aimed at throwing mud on Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy and other YSR family
members. “As minister, I cancelled the licenses of Rakshana Steels and Gali
brothers. If the mines belonged to Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy, why would I have done
that?” he asked. “Sri Jagan Mohan Reddy never asked me for any favours when I
was the Mining Minister.”

He also said he would
have been arrested by the CBI long back if he had not cancelled the licenses
just because he joined the YSR Congress party. “Sabitha Indra Reddy is in
Congress and hence she was not arrested, he said and added: “The entire cabinet
should take responsibility on the issue of 26 GOs.”

Whatever the yellow
media says, the CBI and ED would do it and whatever information the ED and CBI
leak, the yellow media would write, he said, saying the TDP would repeatedly
allege the same thing.

This is all a part of
conspiracy hatched by Congress and TDP after the YSR’s death, he alleged.

Balineni also faulted
the Tines Now poll survey. “When India Today published a poll survey, Eenadu
had not published it but it published the Times Now survey.  I challenge Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy dailies
and Congress and TDP to come forward for an independent poll survey,” he said
adding Congress and TDP will not get more than 4 seats each in the next LS
polls.
